The Science of Memory: An Infinite Loop in the Brain. There are a lot of interesting tidbits and ideas in this article about the brain and memory formation, but the focus of the story of a woman with “perfect” memory is simply overwhelming.

This article reminded me of a documentary I saw years ago of Clive Wearing, a man suffering from an acute and long lasting case of amnesia. It’s called, “The Man with the 7 Second Memory”, and you can get a glimpse of the severity here.
